Zahava Friedman is a licensed, credentialed speech pathologist who loves her work. She has been interested in child development from a young age.

 

Zahava graduated from Guilford College with a dual degree in psychology and art. She went on to pursue a masters degree in communication disorders at San Diego State University. During her post-graduate work there, she was awarded a grant to study autism. She earned a Master of Arts degree in communicative disorders in 2007. Zahava has been practicing in public schools and private settings since then. She recently began providing virtual services. 

 

Zahava enjoys working in both school and home settings. After recognizing the effectiveness of working directly with families in their homes, she started her own practice. Visit the testimonials page to see what families have to say about her work. 

 

Zahava's interests include communication sciences, child development, making pottery, training her dog Anzu, participating in volunteer projects, and being in nature. Zahava's pottery can be seen at: www.innerlightpottery.com
